Red Herring announced its Red Herring Europe award winners at the Top 100 forum in Amsterdam, recognizing Europe’s leading private companies and celebrating these companies’ innovations and technologies across their respective industries. 3megawatt was recognized as an industry-leading provider of renewable asset management solutions, serving clients such as independent power producers, utilities, investment funds, developers and asset managers.
Jury had “the toughest time in years”
Red Herring selects the award winners from approximately 1,200 privately financed companies each year in the European Region. Past award winners include companies like Facebook, YouTube, Google, Twitter, Skype, Salesforce.com and Spotify. 3megawatt has been selected based on their technological innovation of their software solution, their promising business model, their management quality and strong market penetration.
“In 2016, selecting the top achievers was by no means a small feat,”
said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring.
“In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across Europe to the Top 100 Winners. We believe 3megawatt embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. 3megawatt should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”
Edmee Kelsey CEO of 3megawatt said:
‘’We are very excited and proud to be recognized as a winner of such a prestigious award. Our inclusion on the list of the best performing and prominent companies of the year is a great endorsement of the strength of our offering and our strategy. Our innovative BluePoint platform solves the increasing complexity of the day-to-day management of renewable energy assets. We are working very hard on continuous improvement and perfection of our software solution to deliver the highest value to our clients. It is very satisfying to see that our efforts are paying off.”
