Bavaria as a driving force of Industry 4.0

In a discussion with Dr. Carlos Härtel, Managing Director of the GE Global Research Center–Europe in Munich and recently named CEO of GE in Germany and Austria, Dr. Wolfgang Hübschle will explore the opportunities Industry 4.0 offers for investors and companies in Bavaria. The keyword that summarises all activities involved in the fourth industrial revolution is creating quite a stir.

One of the major topics of the discussion includes the question of how companies can master these challenges successfully and benefit from the numerous location advantages offered by Bavaria.

Carlos Härtel is very familiar with the topic of collaboration and knows how startups can benefit from the expertise of established companies and the many talents from Bavarian universities and research institutions.

GE’s research center has been in operation in Garching for more than ten years.
